Engineering Technician / CNC machinist in Tyrone

Our client, a successful Engineering firm is looking for a Engineering technician/ CNC Machinist to be based in the Tyrone area. The position is a temporary position with the possibility of going permanent.
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a team to aid in the production of machine parts within a busy engineering environment. The successful candidate ideally will have experience working in a CNC Machinist role previously and experience with Fanuc controlled lathe setters / machines would be desirable.
The Role:

Setting and operating machines, including loading and uploading according to hour-by-hour targets
Typically between 2-5 years machining experience in CNC programming/setting/operating
Ensure adherence to standard work to ensure quality process standards are met
Strong ability to read drawings and must have strong grasp of mathematics.
Experience in Autocad or CAMCAD would be desirable.

The successful candidate will be working 40 hours a week.
Monday - Friday 8.00 - 5.00pm.
Possibility of overtime
