Oracle Corporation in Dublin, Ireland is currently Talented Technology / IT professionals to work as Pre-sales Consultants for the UK Market. Once fully trained in Oracle Technology solutions, you will work cl! osely with the UK Technology Sales Account Managers ( based in Dublin ) to provide UK clients with optimum Oracle Technology solutions.

Successful individuals will be based in our expanding EMEA Sales Operation based in Dublin, Ireland. Full Relocations packages are offered to successful candidates.

Oracle Direct is our EMEA Technology sales organisation selling all Oracle Software and Hardware Technology solutions and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES



* Help the customer identify the best Oracle solution for their business
* Train the sales team on how to offer and present the Oracle solution to their customers
* Present the Oracle Technology solution to customers using the latest cyber technology ( web seminars etc )
* Become the internal source for product information for the Oracle sales team
* Become an expert in a core set of Oracle products and solutions
* Liaise closely with the Sales Representative and their customers and together build an Oracle solution to solve their requirements
* Deliver overviews of a Oracle Technology product or a solution from a technical point of view
* To obtain the knowledge a sales team needs for a campaign or new release
* Delivering training on Oracle Technology products to support the rollout and marketing of these events



QUALIFICIATIONS



* Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
* Good knowledge and understanding of the IT and current Technology market
* Knowledge of Oracle Database product knowledge or competitor Database solutions ( MS, IBM, Teradata etc )
* Experience of large integrated systems is an advantage
* Oracle PL/SQL and toolset (other DB experience considered - MS, IBM, Teradata etc )! would be an advantage
* Familiarity with Middleware technologies would be an advantage but not necessary
* Previous experience in a support or customer facing role
* Good problem solving skills
* Excellent verbal/written communication skills
* Strong team player
* Ability to work in a pressurized environment.
* Fluency in English essential.
