My client is a well respected pharmaceutical development organisation with Global Operations
They are now looking to receive applications for the newly created position of Technical Leader at their modern, purpose-built facility in Northern Ireland.
This is a technical leadership role in the area of purification Process Development
and separation sciences. The post holder is responsible for their own development projects and in addition provides technical leadership and guidance to a number of other scientists who are engaged in their own independent process development projects. In each case the Process Development Project
scope encompasses development, scale-up, tech transfer and execution within manufacturing.
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes
Previous experience in the development and scale up of an extensive number of prep LC purification processes (mg to 100's gram scale)
Previous experience in a range of LC based methodologies (e.g. RP, IEX, SEC, etc)
Previous experience in the development of purification processes for large biomolecules
Previous experience within a GMP regulated pharmaceutical environment
Ideally you will also possess the following skills
Previous experience in the development and scale up of an extensive number of prep LC purification processes (multikilo scale)
Previous experience of peptide purification
Previous experience in a broad range of separation techniques (e.g. ultrafiltration, dialysis etc)
Previous experience within Contract Manufacturing
Previous practical experience in the use of at line analytical equipment (e.g. HPLC, IC, conductivity etc)
Given the dynamic nature of the department, my client has indicated that they would welcome applications from candidates with less managerial experience to be considered for a more junior role.
